That bug seems to happen more with tables created from the table styles gallery. The text wrapping setting fixed it. Just fixed it! It was the paragraph Keep settings mentioned in the articlebut to get rid of them, I had to select the entire table and then check the Paragraph formatting, rather than selecting text within the table.

This caused all of the rows to default to be repeated. Not sure why this would be made available on the primary table as you would never have all of the rows repeat — at least not for what I can see a reason to have them repeated.

Thanks Joergen! That worked. I would like to add that, in my case, my entire table shifted to an entirely new page as soon as it had too many rows to fit on one page. I also wanted my header row to repeat, but it was not repeating. This is what solved my issue.

Repeat Header Rows can also cause this behaviour — if none of the above is working try cycling this setting off and back on. Worked for me. In my case the table was followed by a section break next page. Deleting the section break solved the problem. Fixed it, thanks! I had an issue. As soon as I do this, it does a page break if there is more than one header on a page…please can I ask how to fix this?
